I got this book for my daughter as required reading assignment I don t know what s going on with this brainwashing of kids by liberal teachers but I told my daughter to just get an F and I explained the opinion views in this book isn t history What a waste of money.
This is a great introduction to the work of Howard Zinn for youth I do think that in some ways it is almost too truncated, but that is because we are using it as a resource in our homeschooling history studies I am supplementing with other resources, and we like it as a jumping off point for investigation, research, and discussion.
